DEFINITIONS

The words and expressions detailed below and used in these terms and conditions will have the following meanings:

- “we”, “us”, “our” means Victoria & Rebecca Ltd, Registered Office: 1st Floor, 59-63 Wood Street, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, LE9 7NE Company Registration Number 107 14780. 

-  “you”, “your”, “customers” means any person placing an order via the website or directly with us.

-  “the website” means www.victoria-rebecca.co.uk 

- “item”, “items”, “goods”, “products” means fabric by the metre, cushions, samples and any other product displayed for sale on the website.

- “terms and conditions” means these terms and conditions and any item specific conditions included on the website.

 

GENERAL

The terms and conditions apply to the website content and orders placed by you with us.

Any orders placed via the website or direct with us will be deemed to be confirmation that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions may be subject to change without notice, it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions each time you use the website as the terms and conditions published at the time of ordering will apply to your order.

We reserve the right to withdraw items from the website and amend or edit the content of the website at any time.

 

IMAGERY & SAMPLES

We endeavour to represent the colour of our products in the images on our website as accurately as possible, however different computer software, screens and other electrical devices can produce variations in the appearance of the images.

Images of the goods shown on social media platforms and other websites are outside of the scope of the terms and conditions and may not be accurate representations of our products.

We strongly recommend that you order fabric samples before purchasing cut fabric from our fabric by the metre collection as these goods are non-returnable unless faulty.

All fabric samples are non-returnable.

 

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Our products are made using natural materials therefore the weave may vary slightly from one batch to another and may also include features such as slubs and knots, these are characteristics of the fabric and are not faults.

Our cushions are handmade so measurements are approximate, please allow +/- 2.5cm variation in size.

A minimum width is quoted for fabric by the metre.

Vertical and horizontal repeat sizes quoted for fabric by the metre are approximate pattern repeat sizes and should be checked accordingly when making soft furnishings from the fabric.

A minimum order of 1 metre applies to all fabric sold by the metre.

Our products are designed for domestic use only. Please contact us at studio@victoria-rebecca.co.uk if you would like to explore opportunities for commercial use with us.

With all printed goods the colour shade may vary slightly from one batch to another.

Guidance on care of the products is provided in the Care Guide section of the website and in the form of care labels where appropriate.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for the intended use and environment that you place it in – the Care Guide section of the website provides further information to assist you with this.

 

ORDERS

All orders are subject to availability.

It is your responsibility to check and confirm that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements and specifications.

We do not take responsibility for over or under ordering of goods.

For orders and enquires from overseas and areas outside of the UK mainland (including offshore areas, islands, the Scottish Highlands and Aberdeen) please contact us at studio@victoria-rebecca.co.uk to make a direct order.

An item that is available to pre-order is an item that can be ordered but is not currently in stock.

By placing an order for a pre-order item you are agreeing to the quoted delivery time.

We will endeavour to fulfil your pre-order within the quoted delivery time. However lead times on pre-orders can vary, if this situation arises we will contact you as soon as possible.

We will take payment for orders regardless of whether the items ordered are in stock at that time, this also applies to pre-orders.

On completion of the website checkout process an order acknowledgement email will be automatically sent to you detailing the items you have ordered, the acknowledgement email is not an order confirmation or acceptance of your order by us.

Your order will be accepted by us when the goods are dispatched to you.

Your order becomes binding once we have accepted it, subject to your rights of cancellation.

We will notify you as soon as possible if we are unable to accept your order.

Non-acceptance of an order may occur if an item you ordered is unavailable, if we are unable to obtain authorisation or clearance for your payment or if a pricing error or description error has occurred or any other reason at our sole discretion.

Where non-acceptance of an order occurs and a payment has been received by us, it will be refunded following notification of non-acceptance of the order.

 

PRICING & PAYMENT

Prices quoted on the website are accurate at the time of publication but may be subject to change.

We are not VAT registered but should this change we will update the website accordingly.

Prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges for orders from overseas and outside of the UK mainland are calculated and agreed directly by telephone or email.

The total cost of your order is the sum of the cost of the items you select plus the UK mainland delivery charges set out on the Delivery page of the website or any alternative delivery charges that have otherwise been agreed.

If your delivery address is located outside of the United Kingdom you are responsible for paying any relevant import duties or taxes.

We will accept payment using Visa (credit and debit cards), Mastercard (credit and debit cards), American Express and Apple Pay (from customers using a supported device) for orders placed through the website.

There are no additional charges for any of the payment methods accepted.

If the issuer of your payment card refuses or does not for any reason authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

The website checkout and payment pages are protected by SSL to keep your data safe and secure.

Direct orders will require direct payment to our bank account (details of which will be provided once a direct order enquiry is made) and the payment will need to be cleared before the goods can be dispatched.

 

DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimated delivery timescales and may be subject to change without notice. We will notify you as soon as possible if the delivery timescale is going to be significantly longer than the timescale quoted. For further information on delivery please refer to our Delivery page on the website.

We accept no liability for financial loss arising from deliveries made before or after our estimated delivery timescale.

We endeavour to check our products before dispatch and to suitably package goods for transit purposes only.

We carry the risk of loss or damage to the goods until you have signed for them.

Products must be carefully checked at the time of delivery and signed for by an adult.

We will not be liable for financial loss or damage arising out of defective damaged or wrongly delivered goods over and above the value of the goods themselves.

 

RETURNS

Cut lengths of fabric cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

Returns should be made in the original, undamaged packaging and in their original condition together with a copy of the associated order dispatched email.

If you believe your goods are faulty or damaged or if we have made an error with your order please email us us as soon as possible and within 72 hours of receipt at studio@victoria-rebecca.co.uk .

Returns are accepted at our discretion subject to your rights of cancellation.

You are responsible for notifying us of your intention to return goods within 14 days of the date that you receive them.

If returning goods you are responsible for the cost and risk of returning them to us and must do so within 28 days of the date that you receive your goods.

We will refund accepted returns within 14 days of receiving them from you.
